Kimberly Contreras is a first-generation Latina attorney and founder of Contreras Law Group. With a background rooted in advocacy and community service, Kimberly provides compassionate and relentless legal representation for individuals and families navigating the justice system. She specializes in Child Dependency, Personal Injury, and Criminal Defense.

Before entering the legal field, Kimberly spent several years working at a children’s shelter. This frontline experience deeply informs her practice today, providing her with unique perspective on the complexities of the foster system and the importance of protecting vulnerable voices.

Prior to founding Contreras Law Group, Kimberly worked with Villapudua & Somera as a Certified Law Student, gaining valuable experience in client advocacy and litigation.

Kimberly earned her Juris Doctorate from Humprey University’s Drivon School of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar in October of 2025. She is also deeply passionate about music and holds a degree in Music History from the University of the Pacific’s Conservatory of Music.
